Local, kiwi owned and operated Harkerss Bus & Coach Service was started in 1998 by Canterbury businessman David Harkerss with just three buses. The company has grown expeditiously over the last 24 years and today has a fleet of forty vehicles. Run by David’s daughter Ginny Terry. Harkerss operates predominately within the Canterbury and Westcoast regions covering the whole of the south island. The Harkerss team’s attention to detail ensures immaculately presented buses and an enjoyable and hassle-free travel experience.

Behind the wheel of every coach is an experienced and skilled driver. All drivers hold the appropriate licences, current First Aid Certificates, and the required NZQA qualifications in transport passenger service. All Harkerss drivers are trained in first aid and for emergency situations.

The quality and safety of our vehicles start with design and construction requirements specifying high safety standards. Our fleet has a range of vehicle sizes, from 11-seater minivan through to 53-seater buses & coaches. Our fleet is serviced regularly and maintained to high standards.
